I scream, you scream, we all scream for… You get the gist. This spring, Los Angelenos are clamoring and cheering a bit more boisterously than their East Coast counterparts because, after its debut in New York last year, the Museum of Ice Cream has opened its doors in sunny L.A. — and it’s four times as big this time around. Located in the downtown art district at 2018 East 7th Place, the exhibition is a toothsome experience like no other with a host of local creameries sharing their goods, including a special mochi ice cream from My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream. But the museum doesn’t stop with just titillating your gustatory system. The scientists over at International Flavors & Fragrances have whipped up ice-cream-inspired scents and, for the remaining senses, there’s plenty of incredible art — like the popsicle jungle, the faux banana split (picture thousands of giant bananas dangling from the ceiling) and, of course, the famous sprinkle pool. Yes, a pool of sprinkles in which you can do a full-body dive. Note: You can keep the wet suit at home — they’re non-sticky sprinkle-like beads.
